At Home Pet Euthanasia Services - end of life assessments
When the time comes to say goodbye, we are here to support you and your pet with care, compassion, and dignity.
What to expect
When Lucia arrives, she will first ensure that you and your pet are comfortable. She will then gently explain the process and answer any questions you may have. You’ll be asked to sign a euthanasia consent form. Family and friends are welcome to be present, and you can choose a calm, comfortable place for your pet to be.
A gentle sedative will be given just under the skin to help your pet relax and drift into a peaceful sleep within 10–15 minutes.
Once they’re fully settled, the final injection is administered ensuring your pet’s passing is calm, painless, and dignified.
Afterwards, you’ll have time for a private goodbye. If cremation has been arranged, Lucia will take care of your pet’s transport with compassion and respect.
Aftercare Options
Individual Cremation
Your pet will be cremated on their own, and their ashes will be returned to you in your choice of keepsake, urn, casket, or scatter tube. This option allows you to keep your pet’s memory close and create a lasting tribute.
Shared Cremation
Your pet will be cremated with other much-loved animals in a respectful, communal process. Ashes are not returned. This is a simple and dignified option for those who prefer not to keep ashes.
Burial at home
If you wish to bury your pet at home, Lucia can leave them in your care after they have passed. Please make sure to check and follow local guidelines regarding home burial.
